Joe is not in any games at present. I'm always open to AUs and generally run him as having survived the film's end in some fashion or another.
My RP preferences include:
Relationships: M/F, genderqueer/F, or genderqueer/genderqueer. (I see Joe as a character who could easily be interpreted as genderqueer--especially since there's no reason he'd need a conventional sexual role/gender role to do his work.) I used to do a lot of M/M and am now more interested in exploring other dynamics. I'm not interested in RPing relationships that aren't consensual.
Violence: Ask permission, but violence is usually fine if it serves a plot/idea, sexual violence excepted.
Sexual Content: FTB for explicit content, but I'll RP anything up to that point. Feel free to PM me to work out details on how we can structure scenes around this limitation. I'm sure we can!
AUs: Hell yes. There are any number of universes Joe/K could adapt to fit into easily, and I'm game for it. (Any dramatic realistic universe or semi-realistic dystopic universe should be a natural fit.)
Triggers: I have none, but there are some topics/storylines I'll only play if they're taken very seriously and handled in a realistic, non-sensationalist/exploitative manner. These include any plots/scenes involving suicide and suicidal ideation, drug use and addiction, abuse (both sexual and not), gaslighting, depression, psychiatric care, and mental disorders.
Playing Style: I'm a slow tagger. And I'm 100% okay with other slow taggers! I'll be a bit disappointing if you're looking for a boomerang tagger.
Timezone: EST.
Canons/characters I'd love to see include:
Blade Runner 2049: Joi, Madame/Joshi, Luv, Mariette, Ana. Nexus-6s and Nexus-8s from the off-world wars would be interesting, too.
Blade Runner (original): young Deckard, Pris, Roy. Maybe Rachel or Gaff?
Alien franchise: any of the synthetics. David, Walter, Call, or Bishop, in particular.
Marvel: Mutants, as K/Joe fits easily into the X-men!verse as a bioengineered mutant hunter (a bit like an undercover, biological Sentinel). It's essentially the same job as being a blade runner, after all. (He doesn't fit so well into the larger Avengers/Marvel universe, since it's less dystopic and more fantastic.)
Shadowrun: He'd fit right into the Shadowrun universe.
Mad Max: He's a bit of a Max type already.
Star Wars:: Pretty much only in the Rogue One we're-on-the-peripheries-far-from-the-shiny-space-wizards version. Might end up with an AU where he's an Imperial bioengineered, essentially disposable hunter of defectors who, uh. Defects himself. As one does.
Canons I'm not interested in:
The Matrix: I used to do a lot of RP in this fandom, and I'm burned out on it. Unless you want to play *outside* of the Matrix, in Zion or the ruined world, with characters who don't have Matrix jacks. That could be interesting.
Children's shows: He...just wouldn't work in those universes.
